So far as the quantum of compensation is concerned, the r*i ^\ aims Tribunal has awarded a total sum of' Rs.7,720/- in favour of minor Ku. Kamitala i.e. claimant No.2/respondent No.3, looking to normal injuries sustained by her, towards medicat expenses, mental and physsca' agony, conveyance expenses and towards the esqsenses borne of attendant during her treatment in the hospita!. Further, the Claims Tribunal looking to the period of hospitalization of the ciaimant No.t/respondent No.2 (Parmila Bai), has awarded 3 sum 6f Rs.400/- towards food expenses, Rs.550/- towards loss of earning for a period of 11 days and Rs.2,650/- towards medicai expenses. !n addition to this, as per 2" Schedule of Sectlon 163-A of the Act a sum of Rs.5,000/- has been awarded towards physical and mental agony.
