The unfortunate parents of deceajsed boy Saurabh Sahgal, aged abOut 14 years are seeking enhancement of the compensation awarded by the 4‘“ Additional Motor Accident Claims ‘the Tribunai, Biiaspur (for short Tribunai’) vide‘ award dated 25.08.2006, passed in Claim Ca§e No.90/2005. 2) As against the compensation of Rs.17,25,G00/—'claimed by the appellants/claimants, unfortunate parents of deceased boy Saurabh Sahgal, by filing a claim petition under Section 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act, for his death in the motor accident on r 61.10.2605, the Tribunal awarded a total sum of Rsl ,95,uGD/- as compensationalong with interest @ 6% per annum from the date r of the filing of the claim petitiOn till th‘e date of actual payment.
