With the consent of tearned counsel appearing for the parties, the petition is 'neard finally.

2} Learned counsei appearing for the petitioner suhnits that the petitioner does not want to press this petition on merits, at this stage. However, the respondent authorities may be directed to consider and decide the representation dated 23-8-2008 (Annexure-P/6), in accoidance with law, on its own merits, within the prescribed time.

Shri Yashwant Singh Thakur, learned Deputy Advocate General appearing on behalf of the State submits that the representation dated 23-8-2008 (Annexure-P/6) shall be considered and decided by the conoerned authority, in accordance with law, on its own merits, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Shri Yashwant Singh Thakur, iearned Deputy Advocate Generai further submits that no coercive steps shall be taken againsi the petitioner, tjtl the disposal of the representation.
