- On 18th July 2025, the Competition Commission of India ( Commission ) received a notice ( Notice ) under sub-section (2) of Section 6 of the Competition Act, 2002 ( Act ) given by JSW Paints Limited ( Acquirer/JSW Paints ). The Notice was filed pursuant to the execution of the Share Purchase Agreement dated 27th June 2025 amongst the Acquirer, Imperial Chemical Industries Limited ( Seller 1 ) and Akzo Nobel Coatings International B.V. ( Seller 2 ) [hereinafter, Seller 1 and Seller 2 are collectively referred to as ‘ Sellers ’].
