A. Name of the parties to the combination
- The parties to the Proposed Transaction are:
- (a) AGI Greenpac Limited ( “ AGI Greenpac”)
- (b) Hindusthan National Glass & Industries Limited (“HNG”)
AGI Greenpac and HNG are collectively referred to as “Parties”.
B. Nature and purpose of the combination
The proposed transaction pertains to the acquisition by AGI Greenpac of up to 100%
shareholding of HNG (“ Proposed Transaction ”). Accordingly, the Proposed Transaction is an acquisition within the meaning of Section 5(a) of the Competition Act, 2002. (“Act”).
