A. INTRODUCTION
- On 30th November 2021, the Competition Commission of India ( Commission ) received a notice ( Notice ) under Section 6(2) of the Competition Act, 2002 ( Act ), given by Talace Private Limited ( Talace/Acquirer ). The Notice was given pursuant to the Share Purchase Agreement executed, inter alia, between the President of India, Air India Limited ( Air India ) and the Acquirer on 25th October 2021 and the Deed of Guarantee executed, inter alia, between Tata Sons and the President of India on 25th October 2021.
