Notice u/s 6 (2) of the Competition Act, 2002 given by:
- Anant Investments
Order under Section 31(1) of the Competition Act, 2002
- On 30th October 2013, the Competition Commission of India (hereinafter referred to as the “ Commission ”) received a notice under sub-section (2) of Section 6 of the Competition Act, 2002 (hereinafter referred to as the “ Act ”) given by Anant Investments (hereinafter referred to as the “ Acquirer ”).
- In terms of Regulation 14 of the Competition Commission of India (Procedure in regard to the transaction of business relating to combinations) Regulations, 2011, vide letter dated 4th November 2013, the Acquirer was required to remove certain defects and provide information/document (s) latest by 11th November 2013. After seeking extension of time, the Acquirer filed its reply on 12th November 2013.
