Memo of evidence filed on behalf of the State is taken on record.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is the husband of the de facto complainant. The marriage took place six months ago. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case.
Learned Amicus assisting the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He refers to the injury report and the photographs of the injury of the victim. He also refers to the statement of the victim as well as the statements of the neighbours of the accused.
Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.
The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected.
Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities.
