The petitioners, to pursue the B.Ed. course for the academic session 2024-2026, took admission at Toshani College of Education, a college under Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University but they have not yet been registered with the University for the failure of the college to upload their testimonials in the relevant portal. The petitioners are praying such registration.

Mr. Sayan Banerjee, learned advocate for the petitioners submits that due to the dispute between the members of the governing body of the college, the testimonials of the petitioners were not uploaded. The petitioners cannot be made to suffer for the fault of the college.

Mr. Prashar Baidya, learned advocate for the University submits that the time for registration is over; besides, to fill up the vacant seats in different colleges under the University, by notice dated March 28, 2025 the University had invited application for

new admission but the petitioners did not avail the said opportunity and the time to make online applications for fresh admission is also over.

Heard learned advocates for the parties, perused the materials-on-record.

The petitioners are not at fault for not having their registration with the university, they cannot suffer for the internal dispute of the college. The petitioners should be given a chance to make fresh applications for admission in the said course.

Mr. Baidya, on instruction from his client submits that as a special case, the university shall allow the petitioners to file offline applications for admission in the B.Ed. course for the academic session 2024-2026 and for the said purpose, the petitioners may approach the University either on 8^th April, 2025 or on 9^th April, 2025 .

The petitioners are directed to submit their offline application(s) for such admission with all relevant documents before the University on the said date(s) and to pay the requisite fees, if any. The University shall thereafter register the petitioners in the said course for the said session.

W.P.A 477 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
