The report submitted by the Sub-Inspector of Cossipore Police Station dated 10.07.2024 stated that the petitioner to have expired on 28.03.2017 supported by a copy of the death certificate. Let the said report be kept on record.
The administrative notice was received by the wife of the petitioner.
None appeared to take steps with regard to the substitution of the petitioner till date.
The learned advocate for the respondents submits that the authorized representative of the respondents/Calcutta Tramways Company is present before the Court. Their personal appearance is noted and dispensed with.
Under the above circumstances, the instant writ petition and connected application are disposed of.
