C.R.M. (DB) 791 of 2023 In Re: - An application for bail under Section 439(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. And In the matter of: - Mamoni Bhowmick ….petitioner. Mr. Joydeep Bhattacharjee …for the petitioner. Mr. Neguive Ahmed, Ms. Ayantika Roy …for the State. Opposite party no.2 is an old lady. It is alleged that she had dishonestly conveyed land to co-accused. Case revolves around documents and allegations of fraudulent transfer is a matter of trial. In view of fact that she is an old lady we are of the opinion there is little possibility of her abscondence and/or tampering with evidence. Hence, we find no reason to interfere with the order granting bail. The application stands disposed of.
