Case No. 117 of 2020 dated 21.02.2020 under Sections 498A/304B/34 of the IPC and Sections 3/4 of the D.P. Act corresponding to G.R. Case No. 425 of 2020 pending before the learned ACJM, Bongaon, North 24 Parganas. And

In the matter of: Prasenjit Halder ….petitioner. Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed Mr. Ashok Das Ms. Ghazala Firdaus Mr. Sk. Saidullah Mr. Mithun Mondal Mr. Julfikar Alam Mr. Md. Arsalan …for the petitioner. Mr. Bidyut Kr. Roy Ms. Rita Datta …for the State. 1. Heard learned Counsel for both the parties. 2. Considered the materials placed by them including the statement of the neighbors of the present petitioner and the victim who were staying in Bihar. The statement of the witnesses shows that the allegation of demand of dowry, etc. is omnibus in nature. 3. Regard being had to facts and submissions, factum of permanent residence of the petitioner, nature of allegation and completion of investigation, it is directed that the petitioner shall surrender before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bongaon, North 24 Parganas within 15 days from today in the G.R. case No. 425 of 2020 arising out of aforesaid P.S. case. On his appearance and application for bail the petitioner shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

The learned ACJM is directed to act upon the server copy of this order, if required.

Accordingly, the prayer for the anticipatory bail is allowed.

The application being CRM (A) 2737 of 2023 is disposed of.
