Mr. Tapan Kumar Mukherjee, learned Additional Government Pleader, who usually represents the State of West Bengal, is requested to appear in this matter. Let the appointment of Mr. Mukherjee along with a junior of his choice be regularised.
The writ petition is directed against an order dated September 22, 2016 passed by the learned 4th Bench, West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal by virtue of which the original application was disposed of upon recording that the plot information, as sought for by the original applicants, has been supplied, as would be evident from the status report submitted by the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Sonarpur.
It appears from the original application that the writ petitioners also prayed for mutating their names in the L.R record of rights in respect of the lands in question. However, no decision has been taken by the learned Tribunal in this regard.
The persons in whose name the plots have been recorded in the record of rights as evident from the plot information have also not been impleaded in the original application and also in the instant writ petition.
