The Court : The grievance of the petitioner is that, despite having acted as an empanelled Advocate of the State Government, the petitioner has not been paid all her due fees.

It appears from the affidavit-in-opposition filed by the State respondent, as rightly pointed out by learned counsel for the petitioner, that the petitioner’s dues were admitted in substance, although not on quantum.

However, learned counsel for the State respondent, in its usual fairness, submits that the dues could not be cleared only because all the pending bills

were not submitted by the petitioner but the State has no objection to pay the legitimate dues of the petitioner.

Accordingly, WPO No. 517 of 2019 is disposed of by directing the respondents to clear off all dues of the petitioner by the end of December, 2020, subject to the petitioner submitting a fresh bill, indicating of her dues, by December 14, 2020 before the appropriate authorities.

No order as to costs.
