The Advocate-on-record for the petitioners undertakes to affirm properly stamp the petition under the Rules within 48 hours of assumption of normal functioning of the Court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The application being C.R.A.N. 1 of 2020 is disposed of.

The alleged offence involves injury but not grievous hurt. The petitioners are in custody for about 46 days. Although investigation is not concluded, it appears from the submissions of learned Counsel for the petitioners and the State that custodial interrogation is not necessary.

Accordingly, we allow this application for bail for each of the petitioners.

The petitioners will be released on bail upon furnishing security of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each together personal release bond of equivalent value to the satisfaction of the appropriate court in Nadia. The petitioners must, however, attend on every date fixed for trial. In default, liberty to the court below to cancel the bail of the petitioners without any reference to this Court. We impose a further condition that the petitioners shall not leave the jurisdiction of the local police station without informing the Inspector-in-Charge or without taking leave of the appropriate court.

C.R.M. 7646 of 2020 is, accordingly, disposed of.
