Pathan, J.; 6 February 2026): In two applications for cancellation of bail (Nos. 120 and 118 of 2024) by Sunderlal Ramnivas Darak challenging bail granted by the learned Sessions Court to Respondent Nos. 2 to 6, the Court, taking into account the bail-grant order, the earlier rejection of cancellation applications, and the submission of the learned APP that the State had already moved two applications for cancellation of bail of accused Rajesh in both crimes, permitted the Applicant's counsel to withdraw the applications. All cancellation applications were disposed of as withdrawn with liberty to the Applicant to challenge whatever order is passed on the State's pending applications (Criminal Application No.13/2024 in Crime No.278/2023 and Criminal Application No.14/2024 in Crime No.297/2025 before the Additional Sessions Judge, Nilanga, Dist. After taking into consideration the order passed by the learned Sessions Court granting bail to Respondent Nos. 2 to 6, as well as the order rejecting the applications for cancellation of bail, and as this Court was not inclined to entertain the present application on merits and on violation of conditions, particularly in view of the submission made by the learned APP that two applications had already been moved by the

State for cancellation of bail of accused Rajesh in both crimes, the learned Counsel for the Applicant Mr. Gastgar, seeks permission to withdraw the applications with a prayer to direct expeditious disposal of Cancellation of Bail Nos.120/2024 and 118/2024, and also for expeditious conduct of the trial against the accused persons.

Permission is granted.

The applications for cancellation of bail of all the accused persons are disposed of as withdrawn with liberty to the Applicants to challenge the order that may be passed in the applications filed by the State Government for cancellation of bail of accused Rajesh in both the crimes.
