We have heard Mr. Kulkarni, learned Counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Samant, learned Additional Government Pleader for the State.

At the outset we may note the substantive prayers which are made in Writ Petition No.15752 of 2025, which read thus:

“(b) To direct the Respondents to release the agricultural lands of the Petitioners at par with Order dated 16^th December 1995, 16^th December 1998 issued by Collector, Pune (Exhibit “F” to the Petition);

(c)To quash and set aside Government Resolution dated 12^th March 2004 issued by Respondent No.1;
