Heard learned counsel for the parties.

By this Petition, the Petitioner seeks implementation of the order dated 4^th May 2019 passed by the learned Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai in an Appeal filed by the Petitioner.

As far as prayer clause (b) is concerned, the same does not survive, inasmuch as the impugned order dated 20^th March 2018 passed by the Respondent No. 1 has already been quashed and set aside.

It appears that pursuant to the order dated 4^th May 2019 passed by the learned Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, the Petitioner made representations to the Collector, as directed by the Additional Chief Secretary. It appears that despite the said representations, the Petitioner’s application seeking licence to conduct the business of video game parlour has not been processed.

Mr. Samant, learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, states that the Collector will decide the said representations (annexed to the Petition) made by the Petitioner to the Collector, as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Statement accepted.

We are not inclined to grant more than four weeks, considering that the Appeal was decided in favour of the Petitioner in May, 2019 and the representations were made immediately thereafter by the Petitioner and hence, the Collector to decide the said representations annexed to the Petition as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
