These Applications have been filed seeking extension of time to make an application to Respondent No.6 for grant of Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) clearance for re-development of the building of the Petitioner.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

This Court, by an order dated 13^th February 2025, passed in the Writ Petitions, permitted the Petitioners to make an application to Respondent No.6 - Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) for grant of CRZ clearance for re-development of its building within a period of four weeks. The Respondent No.6 – (MCZMA) was directed to decide the application within eight weeks from the date of receipt of the Petitioner’s application in the light of the order dated 29^th July 2015 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in Chamber Summons No. 172 of 2007 in Public Interest Litigation No. 87 of 2006.

For the reasons assigned in the Interim Applications, duly supported by an affidavit, the time for submission of applications by the Petitioners to Respondent No.6 - MCZMA is extended by a further period of eight weeks from today.
