Rajendra Devgir Gosavi Vs the District Collector and Others

This matter was heard extensively on 22.08.2024. In order to enable the learned Advocate to take further instructions, the matter was granted an overnight pass over.

Today, the learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits on instructions that besides having deposited the penalty amount of Rs.2,57,213/-, the Petitioner would deposit further amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- which is in relation to the earlier bond executed by the Petitioner on 15.12.2016. It is stated on instructions that the Petitioner would deposit the amount within three weeks from today. The learned Advocate submits that after the said amount is deposited within three weeks, the Truck bearing Registration No. MH-19-Z-4439, may be released.

After the Petitioner deposits the further amount of Rs. 2,00,000 (Two lakhs), Respondent No. 3 shall pass an appropriate order by following the due procedure for releasing the above stated Truck. The said order shall be complied with by Respondent No.4.
