The prayer is made for quashing of the Crime No.1209/2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 406,420,120-B and 34 of the IPC.

The contentions are that the petitioners-accused have already satisfied the liability as reflected in the FIR thereby demonstrating their bonafides.

specific statement is made that there are no other antecedents or pending crime against the petitioners whereas the learned APP has placed on record the following offences faced by the petitioners:-

That being so and having regard to the fact that FIR discloses cognizable offences, no case for causing interference/quashing is made out.

Apart from above, the petitioners have repeatedly indulged in economic offences. The Supreme Court has already settled the issue in catena of judgments that the Court should be slow in quashing the FIR in economic offence as such the conduct of the accused has far reaching impact on financial structure of the Society. That being so, the writ petition stands dismissed.
