1.Heard the learned Advocate for the Applicant. The learned Advocate
invites the attention the Court to an order dated 3rd July, 2018 passed in Bail
Application No.344 of 2018. From the perusal of the said order, it becomes evident
that the Court was not inclined to consider the application for bail.

2. In view of the aforesaid observations, I am not inclined to entertain the

application.

3.The learned Advocate for the Applicant thus seeks directions for
expeditious completion of the trial. The Applicant was arrested on 5th February, 2017.
The Advocate for the Applicant, on instructions, submits that the charge has yet not
been framed.

4. In the circumstances of the case, since the Applicant is in custody for

almost five and half years, it may be expedient to request the learned Sessions Judge to

frame the charge against the Applicant, if not already framed, by 30th July, 2022 and
make an endeavour to complete the trial by 31st March, 2023.

5.In the event the trial is not completed by 31st March, 2023, the Applicant

may revive the prayer for bail.

6. With the aforesaid directions, the Application stands disposed.
