The Petitioner has sought transfer of investigation from Pimpri Police Station, Pune to any other competent investigating agency other than Pimpri Police Station. This prayer already stands satisfied in view of the fact that offence under section 3(1)(10) of the Schedule Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 having been invoked, under the statute, is required to be investigated by the Assistant Commissioner of Police. No further directions are, therefore, required.
