1. After arguing for some time, when I expressed my
disinclination to grant relief in this application, the learned counsel
for the applicant prays for unconditional withdrawal of this
application. He further submitted that looking at the background
of the case, the trial may be expedited and be made time bound.
2.I have considered these submissions. Though it is a
case of murder, the circumstances in which the murder has taken place shows that the wife of the applicant had eloped with the y.s.patil 1 of 2

deceased and keeping that anger in mind, the applicant had
committed assault on the deceased. Looking at the background of
the matter, this is a fit case where the trial can be expedited and
can be made time bound.
3.In this view of the matter, though the application is
disposed of, the trial Court is directed to commence the trial as
early as possible and conclude it on or before 31/12/2021.
