1The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the
applicant is in custody since 14th June 2020 and till today, the
prosecution has examined only 11 witnesses and that the trial is
moving at a snail’s pace and therefore, he is seeking bail on the ground
of the present day pandemic situation. The application filed by the
applicant was rejected by the Sessions Court on 27th May 2020. The
present application is filed on 17th October 2020. Since the trial is in
progress, no case for interim bail is made out. The application stands
rejected. However, the Sessions Court shall make every endeavour to
expedite the trial as far as possible.
