The applicants seek relaxation of the condition
imposed by this Court as regards deposit of their passports in view
of pendency of criminal trial pursuant to Crime No. 246/2015.
The reasons for seeking release of the passports are mentioned in
paragraphs 5 to 7 of the application. An additional affidavit has
been filed to indicate the schedule of travel for the next two
months. It is therefore prayed that the relaxation as sought be
granted.

Reply has been filed by the Investigating Officer
opposing the prayer on the ground that necessary details with
regard to the places where the applicants desire to visit have not
been stated.

It is seen that on an earlier occasion this Court had on
01.08.2018 relaxed the aforesaid condition by permitting return
of the passports to the applicants for a period of two months.

Considering the fact that the trial is yet to commence
and such liberty was granted earlier, the following order is

passed :

1.The Investigating Officer shall release the passports of
the applicants forthwith.

¶17

2.The applicants shall surrender the passports by
30.04.2020.

¶18

3.Before departing from the country the applicants shall
furnish their travelling schedule to the Investigating Officer seven
days in advance.

The criminal application is disposed of in aforesaid
