In all these petitions, the complaint is that though the managements of the concerned schools have forwarded proposals seeking approval to the appointments of the petitioners, no orders have been passed granting the proposals. The proposals are still pending. The petitioners say that the managements have informed the Education Officers concerned that there are vacant

posts and therefore, even as per the staffing pattern, the approvals can be granted.

Since no decision is still communicated to the managements and the petitioners that the present petition have been filed.

Ms.Shinde learned AGP appearing for the State informs that now directions have been given to clear all pending proposals. In any event, if the proposals are pending, the Education Officer (Secondary) of the concerned Zilla Parishad will pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and, in any event, before 31^st March, 2019. We accept the statements, made on instructions, as undertakings given to this court.

If any decision is taken on the proposal and communicated to the management, let the management as also the Department of Education, Government of Maharashtra forward one copy of the decision to the petitioners.

In the event the Deputy Directors of Education (Secondary), Pune and Kolhapur Divisions do not ensure that all pending proposals for approval are not decided before the cut-off date of 31^st March, 2019, we would be constrained to direct disciplinary action being initiated against them. A copy of this order be forwarded to them.
