Learned Counsel appearing for the applicant, after arguing for some time submits before us that the petition is of year 2004 and the applicant/petitioner is in his advanced age. As the caste claim of the petitioner is invalidated, the petitioner had approached this Court challenging the decision of the Scrutiny Committee. The learned Counsel then submitted that considering the advanced age of the petitioner and the fact that the Rule is granted in the petition on 25.10.2004 and the petition is riped for hearing, the office be directed to place the petition for final hearing disposal.

Considering the submissions of the learned Counsel for the applicant/petitioner, the application is disposed of with the directions to the office to place the writ petition for hearing in the cause list of final hearing matters in the week commencing from 29^th July 2019.
