After hearing both sides, we direct that the second respondent/competent authority shall treat the present petition as an application by the petitioners to make modifications/ changes/alterations in the revenue/mutation entries and dispose of such request as early as possible and, in any event, within a period of six weeks from today.

Once this order is passed in the presence of the petitioners' advocate and the learned AGP, we do not think that we should express any opinion, particularly on the merits of the application or its maintainability. All of them are kept open. Mr. Patki
