1 This is an application for suspension of sentence and releasing the applicant/accused on bail during pendency of the appeal filed by him. The applicant/accused is convicted of the offence punishable under Section 354A of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Section 8 of the Protection of Children from

Sexual Offences Act, 2012. He has been sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment for 3 years apart from payment of fine of Rs.20,000/- and in default, to undergo further simple imprisonment for 6 months.

3 During pendency of the trial, the applicant/accused was on bail. Even after conviction, he has been released on bail by the learned trial court. The applicant/accused has deposited the entire amount of fine. Hence, the order :

ii) Substantive sentence of imprisonment imposed on the applicant/accused is suspended and the applicant/accused is directed to be released on bail on his executing P.R.Bond in
