In view of the subsequent events occurred after filing of this petition, the petition has rendered infructuous. However, learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, makes an oral prayer that, as and when the respondent No.1 will undertake an exercise of General Transfers in future, the petitioner's request for transfer at Dhule on vacant post may be considered.
2 In our opinion, the said prayer is innocuous and it will be open for the respondent No.1 to consider the representation / application of the petitioner to that effect, in case it is filed in future, in accordance with Government Policy, at the time of annual general transfers.
3 Petition stands disposed of on above terms.
