. The challenge in these Writ Petitions under Article 226 of
the Constitution of India is to the order of the Returning Officer of accepting the nomination papers of the contesting Respondents for the Vidhan Sabha Elections scheduled to be held on 15th October, 2014. The remedy of the Petitioners is to challenge the result of the Elections in accordance with law. A Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India cannot be entertained. By keeping the remedy open, the Petitions are disposed of.
