The substantive challenge in this Petition is to the show cause notice dated 26th September, 2012 issued by the contesting respondents under the provisions of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (for short “the said Act”). There is a reply dated 8th October, 2012 submitted by the Petitioner to the said show cause notice. An attempt was made by the Petitioner to prefer an Appeal against show cause notice which was not entertained as is clear from the communication dated 2nd March, 2013. The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner states that as of today, no order has been passed on the show cause notice dated 26th September, 2012. The learned AGP has no instructions on this aspect.
