directed the respondents to pay rental compensation of Rs.87,83,763/-. Being aggrieved by the said order, the respondents filed review application bearing Misc.Civil Application No. 774 of 2011. This Court, by an order dated 15.09.2011, reviewed the judgment dated 5th October, 2010 and directed the respondents to deposit the rental compensation @ 8% of the amount of Rs.1,07,82,270/-. This Court held that the petitioner would not be entitled to rental compensation @ 8% on the amount mentioned in the award passed by the reference Court and the petitioner would be entitled to rental compensation @ 8% of the amount payable to the petitioner in terms of the award. This Court had not directed the respondents in Writ Petition No. 3883 of 2010 to pay interest on the rental compensation. The order of this Court in Misc. Civil Application No. 774 of 2011 was challenged by the petitioner before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. The Hon'ble Supreme Court, however, dismissed the petition filed by the petitioner and affirmed the order passed by this Court on the review application. After the Hon'ble Supreme Court dismissed the petition filed by the petitioner against the order passed by this Court in the review on 3rd July, 2013, the petitioner has again approached this Court by the instant petition seeking interest on the rental compensation.
