basis of evidence available on record came to the conclusion that the Petitioner has failed to establish his claim of belonging to Kunbi Caste, which is included in OBC category. Apart from the statement of the cousin nephew by name Dilip to the effect that the family belongs to Maratha Caste and the claim of the Petitioner of belonging to Kunbi Caste is false, there is an adverse evidence in the form of school record, which goes to establish that the Petitioner belongs to Maratha Caste. The school record of the Petitioner as well as all the other documentary evidence pertaining to the relations of paternal side, is adverse to the claim of the Petitioner. There is absolutely no evidence to substantiate the claim of the Petitioner that he belongs to Kunbi Caste. On perusal of the order passed by the Scrutiny Committee, we are convinced that the Committee has taken a reasonable view and on the basis of the evidence made available, has reached the conclusion that the Petitioner has failed to substantiate his claim of he belonging to Kunbi Caste, which is not liable to be interfered with. It is brought to our notice that the Petitioner has completed the elective tenure of five years of the membership of Village Panchayat and as such, the object of securing the caste certificate is served.
