The learned counsel for the parties state that the dispute in the Appeal is partly resolved with the intervention of the Mediator and the parties have agreed that the appellant/husband would pay the respondentwife a sum of Rs. 7,500/- every month during the pendency of the Appeal towards interim maintenance. It is stated that the parties have further agreed that the arrears of maintenance from May, 2013 till February, 2014 would be Rs. 75,000/-, of which a sum of Rs. 25,000/- is already received by the wife and a sum of Rs. 50,000/- would be paid by the husband to the respondent wife, within a period of six months from 17.2.2014.

The parties are also present in the Court today. They state that they are ad-idem on the terms mentioned in the Memorandum of Understanding, so far as the dispute in regard to maintenance is concerned. We have perused the perms in the Memorandum of Understanding. They appear to be just and reasonable. The terms mentioned in the Memorandum of Understanding would be binding on the parties and the husband would be liable to pay Rs. 50,000/- to the respondent-wife, within a period of six months from 17.2.2014 and would be further liable to pay her a sum of Rs. 7,500/- per month towards interim maintenance from March, 2014 till the Appeal is decided.

Civil Application (F) No. 1039/2013 is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
