2 The case of prosecution is that on 6/6/2013 API of Anti Human Trafficking Cell lodged a report at the police station that they had secret information that the present applicants were exploiting women who were passing through economic stringencies and were referring them to persons who had solicited sexual requests. The police officers had called upon the cell phone number of the present applicants and had solicited special favours. The applicants have alleged to have sent four girls alongwith one person. The police officers had engaged service of a decoy customer and had raided premises. Thereafter, the police officers had recorded the statement of the victim girls. Two victim girls have disclosed that they were initially working in a dance bar. However, since the bar had shut down, they were passing through the economic stringencies. They had approached one Mr. Anwar, who had introduced them to the present applicants. That the present applicants had lodged them in a room and used to send them to customers. It is revealed that on 5/6/2013 present applicants had directed Modit Mandal to take the victim girls to Kalyan Shil Road and at that time, the raid was conducted by the police. Modit Mandal was arrested by the police on the spot and has been enlarged on bail.
