The applicant has been charge sheeted by the Umbraj Police station, Taluka-Karad, District-Satara in connection with C.R.No. 166 of 2012 for commission of the offences punishable under Sections 363, 366A & 376 of the Indian Penal Code registered in the month of December, 2012. The order passed by the Court of Sessions on 14.08.2014 reveals that while rejecting the prayer for bail, the trial

Court has expedited the trial and directed both the parties to co-operate for expeditious disposal of the case. A perusal of the FIR and particularly, statement of the victim reveals that she is 13 years old minor girl. Having regard to it, consent given by such minor girl for sexual intercourse is irrelevant. However,

having regard to the statement that the incident in question has taken place due to passion and/or love affair and the offences were allegedly committed in the year 2012 and statement made by the learned counsel for the applicant that the trial has yet not commenced in spite of the order passed by the Court of Sessions, the application deserves to be disposed of with the directions to the Court of Sessions to commence and complete the trial

in S.C.No.31 of 2013 pending on the file of Additional Sessions Judge, Karad,

District-Satara at the earliest and in any event, before 30.04.2015. The applicant shall

co-operate for such expeditious disposal of
