with her husband. They were happy in the first month but thereafter applicant nos. 1 and 2 started harassing her. The motherinlaw asked the complainant to bring Rs.2,00,000/ from her maiden home for her husband’s recruitment in the police department. It was not possible for the complainant to bring money, as her family is very poor. On 25th March, 2014 the applicant/husband suspected about her character and so he heated a serving spoon on a gas and kept it on her arms. He also bited her on the chest. When she shouted, applicant nos. 1 and 2 threatened her of her life. On 26th March, 2014 at 8 p.m. when the complaiinant was in the kitchen, her husband held her hands from the back side and the motherinlaw poured kerosene on her and ignited her dupatta, as they wanted to kill her. However, she managed to escape and came out. At that time, people around gathered there and her husband informed her uncle that the complainant tried to commit suicide by pouring kerosene on her person. She was admitted to the Civil Hospital, Solapur. After consulting her parents and uncle, she gave FIR on 28th March, 2014.
