The only relief claimed by the Petitioners in these Petitions is to give direction, directing Respondent No.1 to consider the applications submitted by the Petitioners for transfer of their lands in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code and communicate the said decision as expeditiously as possible.

In our view, since this is the only relief claimed by the Petitioners, these Petitions can be conveniently disposed of in terms of prayer clause (a) of each of the Petitions. It is clarified that Respondent No.1 shall consider the said applications on merits and in accordance with law and dispose of the same within three months.
