1 The only grievance of the petitioner in this petition is that though he has filed representation/application/appeal before the competent authority-respondent no.1 herein, no decision has been taken by the competent authority. The 2nd grievance is that the hut in which the petitioner was residing was illegally demolished by the Corporation and now the Corporation has started reconstruction on the said land. In our opinion, without issuing notice to the respondents, it would be appropriate to direct the respondent no.2 to decide the representation/appeal/application filed by the petitioner as

expeditiously as possible on merits and in accordance with law after giving hearing to the petitioner within six weeks from today. Writ petition disposed of.
