one of her educational qualifications in that she did not state about a diploma/degree in Information Technology which the petitioner came to learn about. It may at once be mentioned that it is not upon the qualification of the wife that an order of interim maintenance can be passed, revoked or modified. It is only upon the income which may or may not be commensurate the qualification of the candidate. The application was also made on the ground that the marriage was not consummated and that the respondent had left the matrimonial home, which cannot be the criteria for grant or rejection or modification of the order of interim maintenance.
