The learned Counsel for the applicant states that instead of pressing the application for bail, he is only making limited request for expediting the trial and making the same time bound and granting liberty to the applicant to renew the prayer for bail, in event the trial being not completed within the stipulated period.

The offence in question has taken place on 23.3.2012. The applicant was arrested on 3.6.2012 and since then he is in custody. He has a right to have an early trial. Hence, the request deserves consideration.

The hearing of Sessions Case No.213/2012 pending on the file of Additional Sessions Judge, Ahmednagar, arising out of Crime No.89/2012 of Shrigonda Police Station for offence under Sections 302, 323, 504, 506 read with sec.34 of Indian Penal Code, is hereby expedited and the learned Sessions Judge seized with the said case is directed to commence and complete the trial, as expeditiously as possible and in any event by the end of August 2013. In event of trial being not completed within such period, liberty to the applicant to renew the prayer for bail.

The application stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
