This is an application for amendment of
the Criminal Contempt Petition No. 5 of 2012.
By order dated 4th January, 2013, we had asked
the Additional Public Prosecutor to accept the
copy of this application, and adjourned the
proceedings to 21st January, 2013, on which date
at the request of learned counsel for the
petitioner, the matter was adjourned to 28th
January, 2013. On 28th January, 2013, we had
heard the application for amendment so also the
main matter, namely Criminal Contempt Petition
No. 5 of 2012.

The amendment application relates to
prayer to incorporate the fact of refusal of
grant of consent by the Advocate General by his
communication dated 15th October, 2012, and upon
further incorporation of pleadings, that the
prayer be added to take suo moto action against
the respondent nos. 1 to 10 for committing
criminal contempt under the provisions of
Contempt of Courts Act and under Article 215 of
the Constitution of India. Upon hearing the
learned counsel for the rival parties, we are
inclined to allow this application. Criminal
Application No. 1 of 2013 is allowed. Let the
amendment be carried out forthwith.
