The petitioner in the present petition is seeking direction to the respondent no. 1 to sanction the medical bill of Rs.55,181/- of the petitioner for the month of April – May, 2008.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader has submitted that the proposal for sanctioning the medical bill could not be processed since the relevant papers and the proposal were burnt in the fire which broke in Mantralaya. The learned Assistant Government Pleader states that the relevant papers are already being called recently from the Office of the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Nasik and on receipt of those papers, appropriate decision in accordance with procedure and law would be taken by the competent authority, at the earliest.

In view of the above referred categorical statement made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, no further direction as such in the present petition is necessary. Hence, writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
