After arguing for sometime, the learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks leave of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition and to file an appeal to the Government for challenging the order dated 25.5.2012 rejecting the application filed by the petitioner seeking his release on parole.

We accordingly permit the petitioner to withdraw this Writ Petition and grant liberty as prayed for. We further direct the Government that in case the petitioner files an appeal, the same be decided as expeditiously as is possible and in accordance with law.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed with the aforesaid direction.
