1] The petitioner seeks direction to the respondent University to grant approval to the appointment of the petitioner as Lecturer in Politics.
2] In the affidavit in reply filed on behalf of the respondent University, so also the State, it has been categorically stated that before appointing the petitioner, the management has not followed the procedure, which requires :-
[i] prior approval of the university for advertising the
post
[ii] advertising the post
[iii] appointing the selection committee as per the university regulations and
[iv] requiring a candidate to undergo the selection

3] Undisputedly, the petitioners so called appointment by the management is without following the aforesaid procedure. In that view of the matter, we are not inclined to entertain the present petition. Hence, the writ petition is rejected.
