After hearing both the sides and perusing with their assistance the writ petition and annexures thereto so also an affidavit of the respondents placed on record, we are of the view that the request of the petitioners is essentially for regularization of the land and the user therein. Therefore, when there is policy of the State dated 18/5/2009 which is referred to in the affidavit, let the request of the petitioners for regularization be considered in terms of the said Resolution, as expeditiously as possible and the decision thereon be communicated to the petitioner within a period

of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

If, the Resolution requires any hearing to be given to the petitioner, then the petitioner may be given such an opportunity and equally to place relevant and material documents. However, such an exercise be completed within the stipulated period as mentioned above.

The Writ Petition is disposed of keeping all contentions open. No costs.
