The applicant seeks bail in Crime No.188 of 2011 of Umraj Police Station, District Satara. The connected crime is Crime No.189 of 2011. Both these crimes are registered because of cross complaints filed by the members of two groups, who had altercations and fight on 11.2.2011 in between 12.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. As many as three incidents occurred in sequence, in which both the sides assaulted each other. Ultimately, it was found that only one sustained injuries and it was Subhash Jadhav, who was complainant’s father. It is the case of the prosecution, that it was the applicant, who assaulted Subhash Jadhav with an axe. But the injury certificate does not show serious injuries on the person of Subhash Jadhav. The applicant is in custody since 11.12.2011. All other accused in both these cases are released on bail. The investigation as far as the role of applicant is concerned, must have been over by now. The applicant deserves bail.
