1.Parties are married and have a child.
Maintenance for the child is paid. Maintenance for
the wife is not paid on the ground that she left
without cause. The husband however is fair enough to
offer a separate residence for his wife and child with
him. If the husband’s offer is accepted, the marriage
itself may be saved. If not, the parties’ contention
on merits would have to be seen.

2.Pending the disposal of the petition, the
husband must pay some reasonable amount for the wife
since the wife is not having any source of income.
The husband contends that the amount Rs.3,000/-
awarded by the trial Court is an exorbitant amount.
The husband shall pay Rs.2,000/- to the wife pending
the Petition. The reasonableness or the exorbitance
of the amount shall be considered in the Writ Petition
